Seriously, the War on Drugs won't stop its steamrolling over human rights, or its sole support of the black market that creates all the violence and opportunity for organized crime, until we find a way to stop the drug warriors from successfully lobbying to keep their jobs. They're doing a better job of maintaining the status quo than opponents are doing at effecting any useful change.
