Oh, well, since you asked … and since you referred to me by name … I’ll just give this pity reply to clarify some points about which you may be confused.

Let’s take Jo. You seem to think Jo is contradicting herself by lambasting those calling for Hillary to be locked up as Fascists, while at the same time calling for Trump to be locked up.

But Jo is right and you are wrong, as usual. Ever since Bill Clinton was president, the Great Right-Wing Hate Machine, for which Faux Noise is the main propaganda outlet and to which you are a subservient dupe, has been accusing Bill and Hill of committing crimes. Back then, the First Couple supposedly had Vince Foster murdered (in reality, he committed suicide). The utter absence of evidence for their claims has never deterred them, for they are not about what is true, but what they can put over on the rubes like you.

And to the current day, they chant for Hillary to be locked up, for … what? Absolutely nothing. There is not a shred of evidence that Hillary ever broke any law, ever.

But this is not about law breaking. It is about Fascism. Fascists call for their political opponents to be locked up, not for committing any actual crime, but simply for being their opponents.

Donald Trump, by contrast, has already been convicted of business fraud and defaming a woman whom he denied raping. He faces 91 counts on four criminal indictments for some monstrous crimes, including stealing government secrets and attempting to overthrow the government. And while legally he is entitled to the presumption of innocence, in the court of public opinion he already stands appropriately convicted. Everyone watched him try to overthrow the government on Jan 6, 2001. Everyone saw the photos of the government secrets he stole at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

So it is perfectly right and proper and not in the least contradictory for Jo to call for him to be locked up as a legitimate criminal, while decrying those who want Hillary locked up as the Fascists that they in fact are.

Finally, “woke” is just a new term for an old idea that was already quite current when I was in college, namely that we should respect the rights of minorities, their history and their narratives, rather than privilege old white male racists. Attacks on Woke are just more ginned-up hysteria from the Great Right-Wing Hate Machine. Before Woke the right-wing snowflakes were getting their panties in a twist over Social Justice Warriors and before that it was Political Correctness. It’s the same old bullshit and you fall for it over and over, while fancying yourself, laughably, as an independent thinker.

Finally, sex and gender are bimodal and not binary, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with homosexuality, bisexuality, transsexuality, or any variant thereof, now or ever, period. It’s of no more importance than different eye colors and all this stuff has been around forever.
