One just has to look around and see that Christianity is clearly not under any threat in the public square. Sunday morning airwaves are filled with Christian programming. Public figures are free to, if not outright encouraged, to declare their Christian beliefs. Christian churches, bookstores and the like are prevalent throughout many parts of the country.

There is an effort to label the entire commercial season between Thanksgiving and the end of the year as "Happy Holidays". I don't see it as hatred of Christianity, as much as broadening your message to appeal to the widest audience possible.

There is something to be said for whether or not this has some element of "cover your ass" or pandering to vocal minorities. But, that cuts both ways. As recent events have shown, the FCC is likely guilty of pandering to some a few vocal Christian organizations in their recent "fight" against obscenity. I'd say that the difference between that and being "PC" is not very great.
