Then I'd say
they are the ones with a problem, because
their candidate made the issue a campaign issue and
their candidate made the Cheney daughter's sexual orientation public.
As noted by GD, they cannot have it both ways.
Their posturing about the shame of Kerry is sickening to me.
They are the ones who should be ashamed.
