2:46am. Off to work.

I ventured out into the world yesterday after work. The mall, of all places. Apparently, the big thing now are 'shorts' that stop just above your ankles. When I was a kid, these were called 'floodwaters', and you got laughed at if you wore them.

Anyway, I stopped in Bombay's and purchased a really swell box. It has a lock and felt interior.

I went into Macys, and all the women's shoes were 65% off, for 3 hours, I think. It was frightening. There were actually extra security guards standing on the perimeters. I got through that crowd and walked in a big circle, around the store.

I am solitary by nature, but every once in a while, I go out and watch people. They are interesting. I saw a woman holding skirts up to herself, and another woman discussing with her which shoes she was going to wear with said skirts. Funny, men don't think that far in advance. Our thought process is "Does it fit?"
