A smudge shell is what I burn sage, sweetgrass, and other herbs and oils in. The smoke is spirit cleansing. Combine that with the herbal tea and clean fruit, and you've got inner peace for a week!!!
*edit* Oh, and it is just what it seems. A shell, like you'd pick up on any beach. I will have to find my digital and take a pic of it.
