Right now, when people think of Rudy, they think of him on 9/11 and 9/12. They don't think of the personal scandals that engulfed him before then, and they don't think of his pro-choice, pro-gay rights politics. That will come out in the primary, especially with a nutjob like Brownback in the game. And the Italian Catholic thing won't play in the south.
