Dare I ask just what percentage of those polled have any personal experience of the subject? Should perhaps the poll have excluded those who cannot at least name Iran's leader, it's defence spokesperson and point to Iran on a globe?
Statistics such as those quoted mean nothing. Most of us, if pressed for an opinion, will choose to give an uninformed one rather than decline.
