Oh, I don't think he's saying she deserved it, either, mostly just because I know Megatron's a good guy.
And obviously, she shouldn't have done it. But that can be addressed the same way you teach kids not to help the guy in the van find his puppy. Let them know that there are bad people out there who do bad things, and you have to protect yourself from them. You can do that without shaming the victims, and without perpetuating the notion that they're at fault for what happened to them.
Her friend says she 'realized' it was entirely her fault, so both the victim and her friend apparently believed it. And it's exactly that attitude that's responsible for the whole thing.
