I actually used to mend my jeans when they got holes in them, but I haven't done it in a while. I may just try that again, though.

Problem is those two pair were my Sunday go to meeting dungarees. Once they start getting ass holes (hah!), they're a little less respectable even once they're mended. So no matter what I do, I'll still need to replace them at some point.
