A 100 billboard campaign for a fried chicken sandwich at a convenience store raises the ire of a few, complaining the phrase "Crispy Fricken Chicken" is foul language.

There was a lady who left an angry voice mail. And a man called and said he had small children and didn't think they should be exposed to that type of language. I told him I completely understood and agreed.

We're kind of known for edgy, kind of brash advertising tactics, and we knew this would spark a certain amount of controversy. That said, we're proud of the campaign.

The ads are scheduled to come down Wednesday after the campaign ends.

A local brewer advertised a new craft beer as "a great firkin beer." Firkin is evidently a certain barrel size used for some beers....yep, a quarter barrel.

I dunno if he got any flak about it, though.
