In about six hours I have to go to the Hollywood Bowl to see Aretha Franklin and I want to look good, dammit!

Tell me what to wear.

A crisp white shirt with a nice open neckline, a wrap skirt and espadrilles. I vote cotton 'cause it doesn't wrinkle as badly as linen and is easier to clean.

Yes! Just got off the phone with Bo and figured out that between the two of us, we can bring all the food and drink necessary with plenty to share. I'm in charge of the cheese and chocolate (and some regular food, sandwiches and chips and hummus and the like) and he can pick whatever wine he wants and maybe more cheese too (you can never have too much cheese).

Shirt - check (maybe with a tank underneath cuz it seems pretty warm today)
Skirt - check (picked up a YSL in Vegas last time and have been looking for an opportunity to wear it again!)
Shoes - no espadrilles but some cute sandals that will do the job. (Plus there's a lot of big walking hills at the Bowl so I might end up stashing some easy-walking shoes in my purse).
