A New York hot dog vendor says he was evicted from his spot by the Metropolitan Museum of Art because he could not afford the $53,558 monthly rent. :whup:

Holy shit he makes $1,500 a day? I mean, clearly he didn't quite figure it right because even making that crazy money he still couldn't afford $53,558 a month, but Jesus Christ the hot dog vendor makes a half million a year! :faint:

Ya know, yeah there was a contract or whatever, but is suing the guy really necessary? What are they out? They can put another vendor there tomorrow, assuming any vendor can afford that level of crazy. 53K for a couple feet of sidewalk?

When my in laws were in concessions, it seems most all venues negotiated for a percentage, not a flat rent. That makes more sense to me.
