I Confess: I Killed the ICR.
The Institute for Creation Research, which has been around San Diego (currently in Santee, just east of SD) for over three decades, is finally packing up and leaving just as I am returning to San Diego.
I'm not saying I caused it, but I can't think of anything else that could have.
The museum will be staying on in Santee for a while, so if you're in the So Cal area, see it while you can!
I think the ICR graduate school deserves a mature, sincere farewell, don't you?
Nah.

Speaking as a Texas survivor, how appropriate they go to Dallas, where crack research teams schooled in the finest evangelical homes are just waiting for a shot at greatness.

The Discovery Institute, I hope! One hotbed of Creationist lies and distortions and general misinformation down, many more to go.
Cheers,
Michael

It's an insult to every teaching and research institution in the world that they dare call their pile of shit a campus.

Evangelical homes in Dallas are training crack research teams? Where do they get all the crack? Do they have connections with the CIA?

I think I'm going to go to Hebron, KY and lift Answers in Genesis' creationism museum off the ground by the power of transcendental meditation.

Couldn't you make their dinosaur with the saddle come to life and lead it on a rampage through the halls?

Ooh! What an idea for a movie!
I can just see Ken Ham staring down the face of a T. rex and whimpering, "But you're supposed to be a vegetarian!"

Sadly...yes, although I was referencing Answers in Genesis.

This means that even T. rex, before sin entered the world, ate only plants. Some people object to this by pointing to the big teeth that a large T. rex had, insisting they must have been used for attacking animals. However, just because an animal has big sharp teeth does not mean it eats meat. It just means it has big sharp teeth.46

Re: I Confess: I Killed the ICR.
My ferret Rufus had a thing for the guinea pigs' fresh spinach. He wanted it so badly (most likely based on the standard ferret principle of "it's over there; i wish to drag it over here"), but whenever he got a hold of a leaf, all he could do was puncture it.
He tried his carnivorous damndest to eat him some spinach. Those big sharp teeth just couldn't do the job. Perhaps if I had read AiG things would have be different.

You should have cast the demons out of Rufus and then baptised him. That would've fixed everything right back to where it should be.

We live in a fallen world, Uthgar. We can't cast the meat-eating devil out of carnivores at this late date. I Adam.
