Default Britain <3 Condi!

Not!

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/04/02/wo...html?th&emc=th

Even the school kids gave her hell. :giggle:

So, do you think she's gunning for the Presidency? To be the first black or the first female President would guarantee your name would not be forgotten over time; to be the first black AND first female guarantees you'll be legendary. She's gotta be thinking about it. I'd love to see a black women become President of the US, just not this woman. Do you think she stands a chance if she runs?

I thought this was funny: "A democracy is the only system of government that allows people to be heard peacefully." Yeah, heh. And ignored peacefully. Condi and her crowd wouldn't know 'democracy' if it bit them on the arse.

At least she's good for the economy.

Sounds like Condi's England tour has been pretty disastrous :giggle: She has repeatedly denied rumors that she's going to run in '08, but I can't help the feeling that she's been maneuvered into that spot. Not sure if she has a chance though, depends on who the dems field.

Hillary may be gunning for the nomination, but I seriously doubt she'll get it. Oh, who the hell knows, Democrats have done dumber things in the past.

Considering the Presidents popularity right now I think the :rep: will put up a canidate that is not affiliated with him or his administration. If they put up a Bushie they won't have a chance.

Also I am sure that there is a nonnegligible percentage of :rep: voters who will not vote for a black woman. She has two strikes against her for them.

I wouldn't want Hillary either. :shudder:

While Condi has been denying that she'll run for President, I seriously think she will. And she seems to have a big enough fan club in the US to be a contender. At least she used to have - even among people who would not otherwise consider a black or a female Prez. Her ratings may have slipped due to all that's bothering the Bush admin at the moment, but we know how fickle the electorate is. Give them a couple more hot button issues that the Repubs can use to play the Christian element, and the ratings could shoot back up again, right on time.
