"Ah, L'Amour" Nomination Thread
There is no point in messing around. So lets dive right into the next category.
1. Nominate five smilies from the "Ah, L'Amour" category.
2. Smilies with two nominations are in.
3. violators will be shot.

Now, somehow, that does not surprise me. Yes, I have a distinct preference for the work of the artist who produces the charming female smiley with the blue bow and the little yellow guy with expressive eyes and a bad cowlick. Now I know the artist's nom de artiste.
The little munchin' popcorn guy, the sputtering halo guy, and the baseball bat threat...they're all by The Fool, aren't they?
The Fool in the Forest appreciates Fool's work.
Do you know, is The Fool female or male?

Re: "Ah, L'Amour" Nomination Thread
The Fool is a man, originally from Russia, I believe, but living in the US, and a smiley pioneer.
Here's a little interview with him.
ETA: I should have known you'd get in there first, Skep.

Thanks, Skep.
Yeah... Those are my faves, for sure.
So... I've never seen that smiley with the doobie (seeing flying elephants, an all). Is it not in our collection, or have I just missed it?

So you've got two in reserve, Zikes.

Re: "Ah, L'Amour" Nomination Thread
I note:
Crumb's rules on this thread 1. Nominate five smilies from the "Ah, L'Amour" category .
2. Smilies with two nominations are in.
3. violators will be shot .
Emphasis mine.
Then I see the Ymir's blood nominations.
This prompts the question, "Will Ymir's blood be shot in a public execution, or will it be done gangland style, in some wayward locale?"
