Have a gander at the gallery
I have not spent much time looking through the gallery lately. I think it would be a good idea if folks posted a message to the board if they add a bunch of stuff to the gallery so that we can all know to go there and look at it.
You can use this thread for that purpose if you want.
So here is my notice that I am currently adding pictures from my coast trip to the gallery under: Crumbs of Cascadia. I am just getting started, so please take a look.

Re: Have a gander at the gallery
livius was kind enough to create a new section called "The Natural World," to which I added a whole bunch of pictures a few months ago. Wildflower pictures (all properly labelled, of course) and landscapes, mostly. Perhaps I should get around to uploading a few more pictures one of these days ...
Cheers,
Michael

I've been checking out the new category as you upload, Crumb. Great stuff.
Yes, Michael, you should definitely keep the flow of natural goodness coming.

Re: Have a gander at the gallery
I often spend time looking through the gallery. It's one of my fave FF features, and helps soothe my weary self after a busy day or when I just need some quiet time to chill out.
Thank you to all those who contribute to the gallery - I appreciate your images muchly.

Re: Have a gander at the gallery
Oddly enough, we just came back from the new Hindu temple they built, and I was hoping some of the pictures were nice enough to put in the gallery. Lo and behold, this thread is the first thing I see!

Re: Have a gander at the gallery
Sheesh. I hadn't realized there would be a 5 page deluge of new images within 30 minutes of the posting of my lonely image. I usually rely on the "What's New" to get some views for my entries.
It be like Deviant Art all up in der tonight!
So I'm gonna thank Crumb for providing a spot for me to let folks know there's a crappy 4 frame view of an awesome black jelly opal ring.
Your photos are gorgeous, as always, ITOZeke; it might me a while to load up all of them.
I caught a few of Crumb's trip -- now I want to go look up the proposed length of our transport blimp to compare it to Hindenburg! The black (brown?) bunnies are so cute! I plan to go look at the rest.
and curses' temple. I love the framing on your shots and the details of the temple are captured beautifully!

Re: Have a gander at the gallery
No problem, ITOZ (I see that's the consensus abbrev.)
I just hadn't expected it, is all! But all those new images and this thread gave me an excuse to post the link here, otherwise I would have just let it take its random hits, which could have been none.
So I'm probably way more better off this way.

Re: Have a gander at the gallery
That brings up a good point. In the interest of preserving Member's privacy we exclude the Member's Galleries from the random images on the forum index and portal. So if you have pictures you want the world to see, you'll have to give us your blessing to open your Member's Gallery to the world, move your images to one of the non-Member galleries or ask us to create a new display gallery for your pics.

Re: Have a gander at the gallery
Thanks, vm. I like it the way it is....I wouldn't want to flood the random pix with a buncha fluer pix (and the occasional mug - ewwww...). I've done enough damage with the Asia pix.
Is there any way to announce that on the Member's Gallery page? Just so's folks know?
Crumb...Love the local pix.
Curses...You might want to label at least some of your temple pix with a reference as to what temple it is and where it is...maybe you already did and I missed it?
pescifish...I stumbled into, and commented on, one of your Huntington pix.
I appreciate all the new stuff. I really enjoyed fragment's India pix.

I didn't see it, but I saw the turkey, so I thought I'd provide it.
That's the gander that Crumb promised, but did not yet deliver.

I think those are pig butts. The story with the pic was about a gander that herds pigs.
