However, his adversary said something interesting at around 6:30 of Part 1:

There is a problem with...your effort to get Muslim groups to say what you want them to say, the way you want them to say it...If they...signed on to your particular language...they'd be accepting all of your premises.

What Horowitz "wants them to say" is that they denounce Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations. Just which of Horowitz's other premises are necessarily true if the key premise is true? And if the logical connection between them is legitimate, and the key premise is true, what can reasonably be said about anyone who rejects any of them?

Now, however you slice this, this stuff is very bad for our country, it's very bad for our society, it's bad for our culture and discourse. If Hezbollah is a terrorist organization, then so is the Israeli army. There is not a single tactic Hezbollah has used that the Israeli army has not used. Kidnapping of Lebanese citizens (Israel likes to call them 'bargaining chips' instead of hostages, but they are not charged with anything), indiscriminate shooting at civilian targets (or targets where civilians can reasonably be expected to be present). I dare you to come up with anything Hezbollah has done that has not been done by the Israeli army in Lebanon (and I am not even talking about the nasty stuff that goes on behind the scenes like the car bomb attacks, some of which have been traced back to the Mossad or the CIA). Hezbollah has never used suicide bombs either since the attacks on the US marines - a military target - (which was not claimed by Hezbollah but for which they are widely held responsible) which was clearly a retaliation to US bombardments of Lebanese villages - a civilian target. If you expect Muslims to denounce Hezbollah on pain of deportation, will you also be deporting anybody who calls himself a Zionist?

Horowitz is a scumbag.

I don't think you are really thinking this through. What if they take the oath "I,_________, do solemnly swear, as a citizen of another country and a Muslim, that I am loyal to the United States Government, and hate Islamo-Fascists and all they stand for, and am obedient to this great nation. U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!"- But what if then they change their mind, or someone comes along and says, "Hey, you're a Muslim, wouldn't you like to destroy America?" That's why they should repeat the loyalty oath four times a day, right after they pray, preferably over a P.A. system.

Though they still might not mean it. Let's get big red M's for them, that we can require they wear on the outside of their clothing. That way if we see them with a shopping bag or backpack, see them driving a van or any vehicle, see them in an airport, we can report them right away, or maybe just tackle them. You can't be too vigilant against potential Islamo-Fascists.

In fact pretty much unless they are Poles we don't want them in the U.S. Wait- Equatorial Guineans and people from Chad and Nigeria and Saudi Arabia are okay, because they sell us oil, so obviously they are loyal. Fuck it. Everybody not a fourth-generation American, should be deported to the nation in which they hold the most ethnicity. Everybody else who gets to stay should swear an oath of loyalty, in front of witnesses, once a day. Except for native Americans, who should swear five times a day, because you can't trust 'em- they would turn terrorist in a heart-beat. We should install lo-jacks in them, and then send security forces whenever they get near airports or government buildings.
