Michael Savage Dropped From "Flagship" Radio Station

Quote:
San Francisco radio station 910 KNEW has dropped conservative talk-show host Michael Savage from its lineup. KNEW, which was Savage's "flagship station" dropped the righty talker in favor of "John and Ken," who the station manager reliably informs listeners are just as good as "Armstrong and Getty," whatever that means.
The first crack? He's losing sponsors like Beck.

Beck's a superstar now, isn't he? Another Obama aide quit. Now he's going after Cass Sunstein. I saw a bit of Hannity last night and he and Ann Coulter were mocking Sunstein because Sunstein had remarked that, for example, an adult horse is more adept at reasoning than is a newborn human.

Isn't that just a statement of fact? They may not like it, but it's true.
Along with University of Chicago scholar Richard Thaler, Sunstein examined the mismatch between the number of people in need of organ donors and the number who die with perfectly healthy organs. Worried that the discrepancy emerged not because people are opposed to organ donation but because they forget to tick a box on their driver's licenses, Sunstein and Thaler suggested that organ donation become the default stance. Individuals would have to deliberately specify that they don't want their organs donated. In the hands of fringe bloggers, this notion turned into a false accusation that Sunstein advocated for granting government the permission to forcibly remove organs. Although this claim has been roundly rejected, by conservatives and liberals alike, it has a "death panel"-type potency and refuses to subside.
Newsweek

More here.

(He's since been confirmed.)

I haven't noticed that whether or not it's true has anything at all to do with what Coulter claims.

Reportedly, Joe Wilson has raked in more than $1,000,000 in campaign contributions since his "You lie!" outburst. His Democratic rival, Rob Miller, has had a spike in contributions as well, but Wilson, whom some are calling an "American hero" for shouting "You lie!" at the President, has had a bigger spike in contributions.

*Sigh*

Cheers,

Michael

An American hero to the party of mean. Doesn't say much about the integrity of either.
