I have never diced a habanero nor licked a knife that had diced habaneros, but if I had I would eat bread and/or drink milk if my mouth was aflame.

Our neighborhood seems to be fighting over "cheese" versus "bread" as a fix. So oily starch should do the trick.
I mostly just stick my fingers in my eye, not lick the blade and the curse for a really long time.

I lick the knife and I cool down with beer. beer is touted as liquid bread, so I think I'm good to go.

Yes, but why do you need to cool down? They're not that bad...

Then again, I'm kinda known for my bizarre resistance to capsaicin. Back in the south I grew my own habaneros and used them for all kinds of things, even stuff like scrambled eggs.
