It's a great list and while the democrats should not escape blame as well, the current batch of republicans seem to go out of their way to make it a point that they are in it for themselves and their corporate controllers/buddies and that they consider their voters and their base to be stupid mindless drones that will walk off a cliff if their republican Gods tell them too.
While it's always fun to laugh at the stupidity of fanatics, I think they at least deserve some respect as human beings. A respect that their own 'leaders' refuse to give them.
