(Mrs. Richards didn't have a walker, but it was the best I could do. The only other old lady is smiling, which simply wouldn't do.)

I've been watching The Last of Us (good enough for what it is) and Poker Face (really great, and not just "for a Peacock show"). The former is zombie apocalypse show based on a video game and the latter is Natasha Lyonne playing a "human lie-detector" who travels around solving murders. Both are airing one episode at a time (on HBO and Peacock respectively) which is quite a throwback. I'm actually kind of enjoying having something to look forward to every week though. There might be something to it.
Poker Face is fitting almost perfectly in this niche in my brain. The exception being some longer plot hooks that I hope don't become the show. It is pretty much designed to look and feel like those shows from my very young childhood and I'm loving it. It is formula but the formula it's using is good and they are using it very well. Also, Natasha Lyonne.
