Now, somehow, that does not surprise me. Yes, I have a distinct preference for the work of the artist who produces the charming female smiley with the blue bow and the little yellow guy with expressive eyes and a bad cowlick. Now I know the artist's nom de artiste.

The little munchin' popcorn guy, the sputtering halo guy, and the baseball bat threat...they're all by The Fool, aren't they?

The Fool is a man, originally from Russia, I believe, but living in the US, and a smiley pioneer. Here's a little interview with him.
