Default Kansas schools may have to start teaching another creation theory

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is gaining support, followers of this new found religion are swamping the board of education with requests their theory be taught alongside Intelligent Design and Evolution.

I'm glad you posted this Warren. I read the creator's website last week or so, and thought it was pretty funny, but I ESPECIALLY liked the chart about the correlation between the absence of pirates and the increase in global warming-related weather (you gotta check that out!). I was seriously thinking about buying the mug with that chart on it. Funny shit!

I did tell the friend who sent it to me, of course, that there was already another very developed creation theory out there!

Yeah, I suppose that might cause the ID supporters to stop for a second if they realize they'll have to include creation stories of the other major mainstream religions. Here's one link I found which has some such information. I don't see how the Xians could possibly argue that their version is any more valid than any of these.

I suspect this will lead to claims of "One True Intelligent Design" and "All Those False Intelligent Designs".
