Okay...but I don't happen to think that Skittles is the appropriate means of accomplishing that.

ETA: What am I saying? I don't even drink vodka. It is evil. It makes you lose hours of your life in the ether...or somewhere.

Vodka owes me a good six hours of my life that disappeared in 1970.

My experience is that alcholic beverages which add sugar, or have a high sugar content (Southern Comfort, Sloe Gin, Kahlua, Bailey's Irish Creme, etc.) tend to, 1. be very popular with the female imbiber, particularly the neophyte imbiber; and 2. leave one deeply and seriously crappy hangover the following day.

If you accompany a female imbibing these types of beverages, be prepared to hold hair out of way of the toilet bowl. If you have friends of this type, I recommend placing hair scrunchies on the toilet tank in your home.

I've done the same thing using both blackberries and peaches and sugar but I never thought of Skittles

Pretty colors but it does sound pretty hurl-a-rific.

I had a friend about 10 years ago that would only drink those light malt beverage type drinks (i.e. Smirnoff Ice etc.) but would toss four or five Skittles down to the bottom of the bottle first for extra fruity flavor and of course the pretty colors. I thought it rather inventive.

Anyway I thought this thread was going to be about the abomination I've recently had the misfortune to try, "Chocolate Mix" Skittles. My SO included a big bag of 'em in my Xmas stocking (not having sampled them himself) and after a few valiant attempts I had to confess that they were quite possibly the nastiest tasting "candy" I'd ever eaten. *shudder* I haven't seen them on the regular store shelves since then but there are loads of 'em at the dollar store, so I'm assuming the general candy-buying public agreed.
