Interweb Mafia - Game III

Welcome to the :ff: edition of Mafia - Game III

For more information, see About: Mafia

This thread is for active game players (listed below) only. Posts by non- or eliminated players will be removed.

All :ff: members may discuss the game in the Peanut Gallery thread.

This Mafia consists of 17 players, including the following roles:

Mafia
3 Mafia
1 Traitor (may kill 1 person in the course of the game)

Townies
1 Cop (may investigate role of 1 player per night)
1 Doctor (may protect one player from being killed per night, no consecutive protections of the same player and no protecting themselves)
1 Vigilante (may kill 2 suspected mafia in the course of the game)

The Vigilante: Nobody will know who the vigilante is, but he/she has 2 chances in the course of the game to kill suspected mafia during the night.

The Traitor: Nobody will know who the traitor is, but he/she will know who are in the Mafia and use his votes to protect them. The traitor may also kill one person at night in the course of the game.

This is a non-PMing version of the game. Townies should not be exchanging game-related PM's.

All game play should occur during daytime and within the game thread. There are no discussions at night in the game thread. When a majority has been reached 50% +1 vote, any player may call nightfall and all game play should immediately cease. Any posts made after nightfall may be removed to the peanut gallery thread. Any surviving Mafia can PM each other and mafia, the cop, and the doc and vigilante all PM me there choices for a kill, investigation or protection.

If you'd prefer, you may use email instead of PM to contact me: viscousmemories *AT* gmail *DOT* com.

Votes must be in bold or they won't be counted!

She swung open the front door, pleasantly surprised by the rush of warm air on her face. The wet ice sparkled in the trees and small patches of grass were struggling into view. The unbearably protracted struggle between Lady Spring and Old Man Winter had finally come to an end, the former radiating with victory. Dorothy nearly floated to the mailbox, overcome with the joy of spring and prepared to face anything - even the horrifying gas bill she'd been expecting.

She grabbed the bunch of mail from the box and flipped through as she walked toward the house. When she got to a small brown envelope with nothing but the word "Urgent" in large red letters, her heart skipped a beat. The beauty and comfort of spring suddenly became cold and terrible. She tore it open.
D,

P and at least two of his men have disappeared, and we have reason to believe they're heading your way.

Be careful.

Once inside, she stuffed the letter back into the envelope, lit it on fire and threw it in the fireplace. She picked up her sattelite phone and dialed the emergency number.

"Hello?"

"It's D. We have a problem..."
