Watching an English 20 something I know, what should ordinarily be reasonably employed (in 1960s) with a HMG employer about to become homeless due to a 35% rent increase on a place she didn't heat over last winter while managing on one meal a day being all she could afford.

As for myself ... flight was reasonable, landed on time ... and then had to wait for an hour on the apron for the gate to become ready. I'm definitely blaming Brexit for this. In one of his periodic apologies the Finnish pilot said "This is London Heathrow" in a significant tone of voice, so I think he does too.

Britons please correct my reading, but after Boris survived the Tory no-confidence vote, it now appears that Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak are resigning in what appears to be an attempt at Geoffrey Howesque Cabinet knifing, except with a more comically buffoonish cast of characters? Is it wrong to be in camp Truss for comedy value?
Legit question: does Keir Starmer have any lines here? Like he seems like a bit player and I do not understand why. (I assume this is not a fair question and somewhat analagous to asking an American to explain why Democrats control 2 branches of government and are unable to enact a policy agenda.)
