Dingfod's Chili. If it doesn't kill me, I'll serve up the remainder for tomorrow's Halloween cook-off. If it does kill me, at least I got out of writing that #@$% weekly report.

Re: What's for Dinner?
I was on call for work all weekend, so when the word finally came Sunday at 4p that it wasn't going to happen, I decided to drive into town for Japanese:
extra spicy Hawaiian sushi (spicy tuna and cucumber, tuna sashimi on top)
miso soup
tuna sashimi
veggie tempura
beef teriyaki
rice

Re: What's for Dinner?
Chorizo and scrambled eggs with a mushroom spaghetti sauce. Because we were out of both ketchup and salsa... Turned out very well, though.

Chicken soup with red rice and brussels sprouts. We had this last week, too, but Maturin is still sniffly. If it doesn't work this time, I'm putting him back in the hospital until he's done crying about it. Waah waah waah.
Also apple pie.

I hadn't either until I saw it at the Asian market and bought some. It's sort of like brown rice, but the hull is red, and it's a little more flavorful.

Sadly, his ass is pretty straight already. Don't tell him I said, though. I don't think he knows.
Man, I hope he's not reading this thread.
