Speaking of Monty Python...Spamalot is making its rounds at the performing art center downtown. Not going this year maybe next year, I have been hearing great reviews. I hope to see Hairspray tonight at the movie theater.

Well, the futon is out on the front lawn--getting $50 for that, people should be here for that any minute. Most of the bedroom set is apart and next to the futon--getting $30 for that, those people are coming at 1:30. All that's left to do is take apart the bed frame and lug that out too.

Why do cats just HAVE to walk on everything that's heading out the door?

House animials in general love to get all over the furniture and they are very curious when you make changes, they are just checking stuff out.

I went to change into my jean shorts after getting back from riding (I always wear long jeans when riding regardless of the temperature.) and to my horror :ohno:

I found that I have outgrown both pairs of my jean shorts!

Actually, I'm glad of that. I needed the weight. It looks like it's time to buy a couple pairs of new shorts though. :giggle:

How the hell the pizza place got "onions" out of "mushrooms", I'll never know. I do know that all I could taste afterward was onion so I've already brushed, flossed, and gargled for the night. Yeck.

In other news, I'm still sporting battle wounds from a battle that I didn't even take part in. :brooding:

Friday night, no sooner did I lie down in bed for the night than two of my cats got into a fight... on the bed.. right beside me. My right arm got all scratched up and it's not the first time this has happened either. Little furry assholes. :mutter:

Who the hell wanted all these animals... this ZOO.. fer crying out loud? :cryout:

Down at the rental property, mowing the grass this afternoon. Went to trim the lower branches off a female holly tree with the lopping shears so I can mow closer and not get stabbed and lo! a white-faced hornets nest down in the lowest branch right next to the ground. Never seen them build a nest that low before--and good thing I spotted them before they saw me--extremely nasty and vengeful critters those. Off to Walmart. One can of chemical warfare later, the nest is history. Then I turn my attention to the field, which has a large triangular patch o'hay I hadn't got to last time, so I bust out the DR brushcutter with the sun setting in the west. Almost done, light is fading, and--zing! Must have mowed over a nest some sort of bee or hornet probably living underground in the tall grass. Got 2 stings on the right, 1 on the left leg. Good thing it wasn't in the broad daylight, could have been alot worse.

Bees - 3; Me - 1. You win some, you lose some. :bee:
