They're cunning bastards. I live in the foothills of the santa ana mountains in california. The are nocturnal hunters. One of them got my neighbor's elderly dog, because the neighbor is a dumbshit and didn't properly lock him up for the night. A few days later I was driving down a hill, and saw one staring at me from the side of the road. This is brazen behavior, as it was full-up daylight. He stared right in my eyes, with his body exposed from brush, as I drove past, and I eyeballed him. I grabbed this wicked L-shaped piece of steel I keep under the front seat, did a U-turn, and went back up the hill. As soon as he saw me, he knew I was coming for him, and split.
