Either he's obsessed, or at least two people singularly obsessed with making him look obsessed have been trolling in his place all over the internet for a large multiple of years. He collects bannings like wine labels, actually proud of them, and does whatever it takes to get his banning accomplished. It's some sort of moral victory in his mind somehow. His stated goals, however nebulously or poorly stated, are consistent from board to board, as are his particular language deficits, and he's not really known for pretending to be anyone else. The sheer dedication makes me think he's entirely serious. I'd be quite afraid of meeting him in real life.
