I can think of no reason why a pro-town vigilante would try to kill the person who nailed the Cult Leader. The person who shot liv was evil. It is possible that Demimonde was vig killed as several people suspected here (No, it wasn't me).

Wait, who suspected that? Demi was a Vig. I made a joke about her getting hit with her own hit, but I don't think anybody actually suspects that, unless I missed it. I think we're operating under the assumption that Demi's death came by mob kill. Okham's razor and all that. Or is it just me?

No, I don't know their transformer name. I was only told that they fired a bolt of energy at liv. I just went back and reread the PM, cause I wanted to make sure it wasn't like, protective energy or something, but Mega's wording pretty clearly implies a kill attempt.

Telling us all of this only makes sense if you think the shooter is scum (or at least non-town). I can't see why you would bring it up otherwise...

Also, I meant "suspected her" not here. It would not be surprising to find out some vigilante thought Demi was scum and killed her. On the other hand, only a fool would try and vig livius, who just outed the cult leader. Therefore the Decepticon hit was blocked.

I disagree. It's kind of a weird move to target liv, but scum wouldn't have known Lees's affiliation any more than town would, so liv's not cleared by any means. Nor has anybody claimed that she is cleared. So I don't understand the insistence that anybody who targets her has to be scum.

She's not cleared, but she is an able scum hunter who just proved her abilities once more. I can't see a vigilante trying to kill her based on the off chance she was scum. It's just a boneheaded move.

I don't follow. Liv making a case against Lees doesn't clear her, unless you assume the Decepticons knew about the cult leader.

Is that directed at me or JA? Yes, the card got flipped at lynch time, but liv didn't know Lees was a cult leader when she made the case for lynching her.

Sigh, let's see...

Scenario 1:
1. livius abruptly outs the cult leader and gets her lynched.
2. Scum get skittish knowing she will probably find them next
3. Scum shoot liv, but fail because of a protection or roleblock of some kind.
4. Since Demimonde was the target of much Day 1 suspicion, an unaffiliated vig kills her.

Scenario 2:
1. livius abruptly outs the cult leader and gets her lynched.
2. Scum decide, hey, let's murder the one person who's most likely to get lynched on Day 2 or 3 (Demi)!
3. Vig is like, well, hmm. It's logically possible for liv to be scum, so I'll kill her just in case, even though she's really good at scum hunting.

Which is more plausible? I'm putting all my chips on Scenario 1. Who targeted liv?

Maybe an exaggeration, but she was certainly a likely target. I'm not the first person to point this out, IIRC. Some speculated in response that she might have piqued the scum's specialdar somehow, otherwise they would've killed a more innocent looking person.

It should be noted that, even though it's likely that slim is a big ol' scummy Decepticon, I still think there's value in addressing the Mystery of Leesifer's Missing Ladybits before nightfall. I cannot stress enough that cults get a two for one swing evvery time they recruit, and prevent us from clearing anyone. I.e. even if we lynch slim and he's scum, you can't consider me clear for outing him, because I could get recruited tonight.
