Demi dies trying to vig kill slim (that typically backfires on the assailant and kills the vig)
I shielded myself night 1 so that would explain the failed night kill by scum...just a scenario if we want to assume Demi did fire a shot at all.

my plan is better because we get an extra day, unless we are absolutely sure that we have scum. that will give us all extra night moves and when we do lynch tomorrow we should have a better chance of getting scum.

I don't understand why you dont like my plan, contra.

Upon re-reading my role PM, I don't believe that you can stop me from doing my night action. Unfortunately the verb he used to describe my action is not listed in the order of operations in the OP, so I don't know for sure. We can always try it and see. :mischief:

my role PM specifically says that my forcefield blocks as well as protects ANY action from occuring.

when deadlokd claimed cult cop, some people took exception to the claim for 2 reasons.

one, he seemed to think it was still a useful power.

two, people said that would allow him to know that there was a third faction.

If you championed those ideas can you go over them?

Well anyway, don't waste it on me. I have to die to use mine, and I'm not willing to do that at this point.

My thing says that I can self-destruct, and doing so will prevent anybody else from taking any night action. Without quoting it directly, it was pretty specific about that. I would think that would include your night action, but if your power is protection and blocking, maybe it could overrule mine and I wouldn't die. But it's not clear from the order of operations which of us could stop the other from making their night move.

It's academic at this point, because I'm not going to use it. I don't want to die tonight.

This.

If we lynch wrong today, and fail to block the scum kill tonight, then tomorrow is lynch or lose.

If bey blocks today's lynch, then tomorrow is not lynch or lose, plus we have a smaller pool of people to pick scum out of as well as an extra round of night actions. If we are not all but certain we are lynching scum, it's better to wait until tomorrow.

I only took exception to the fact that he seemed to think "cult cop" meant the same thing as "cop", i.e. he seemed to be under the impression that he was checking people to see if they were scum, not if they had been recruited. It seemed odd that he had been using a power for two nights without even knowing what it did.
