PROTIP: If you live next door to Santa Claus at the North Pole, you probably don't even need a refrigerator, but you will want to hang on to that vodka. Mittens are a nice touch for when you want to open the bottle.
PS - Bey had a really funny post right before my shitpost. Go thanksed it. Thank you.

Hey, pea. I found you a new boyfriend in case things don't work out with what's his name.
Soylent - Free Your Body
He's totally your type. Hey, did you know what food n' cooking n' eating was just a math problem to be solved? Cuz he did, and he solved it. Plus he used a totally ironic name for his product, so you know he's quirky n' fun n' smrt.

I'm bored at a function so I'm gonna bore you too. It's at a big hangar at peachtree dekalb airport so come bomb me with booze. I'd rather be on the Tarmac with the planes than hanging out with this lot. Ohhhh but we did get to hear the lead singer from collective soul sing and he did Shine so there is that. Also free dessert.
Also autocorrect does funny things with capitalization.

Ha ha! I was just talking about Ozu, and now look! Stars aligning for my amusement!
A Hypnotic Supercut of Passageways in Yasujirō Ozu Movies - Boing Boing
That kogomada guy is pretty great. He has tons of little wordless video essays illustrating film techniques. I've watched Hands of Bresson like a million times, and What is neorealism? (the only narrated one, I think) actually answers that question pretty well in under five minutes.

Okay, if how I spend my money is a reflection of my values; I'm on the fence on shelling out $15 to renew my ACLU membership (partly because the guilt spam), but I just spent $20 bucks on the Comic Book Girl 19 Sexy Cosplay calendar 2015... and its February already.

Re: Miscellany
I got into the elevator just now, and held it for one dude, then another dude came up to it as the doors were closing. He successfully got the doors to reopen, so he's heading in as I take a couple steps back (since it happens to be the large elevator, I have plenty of backing-up room). Just as I do that, he swings around for some reason, and his coffee goes slosh -- all over the area I was just standing in. That's right, my guarding of my personal space radius saved me from a hot coffee shower. CHECKMATE EXTROVERTS!!!

Re: Miscellany
I ordered something from the German amazon store last week, and it is being sent to Finland from Germany and now in tracking the package I see that it has for some reason spent the weekend in England. As did I.
And then estimated delivery another week?!?

Re: Miscellany
I accidentally ordered a battery from China a few weeks ago, and was all disappointed when it gave me an estimated delivery time in March, so I was super-pleased when it showed up in the US way ahead of schedule. So I watched it arrive at the local sorting facility, then I watched it get back on a truck and drive around Wyoming for a while before it finally came back to Colorado and then to my house. (I was actually looking at the tracking data right as it showed up in my mailbox, which I swear was coincidental. I was not just spending the entire three weeks or whatever in my adult diapers next to a case of energy bars refreshing my browser and watching my battery progress in real time. How dare you think that!)
It's a p. good battery, and the flashlight I got it for is really sweet. I am pleased with both purchases.

Did you spend the entire three weeks in adult diapers with a case of energy bars refreshing your browser continually watching your shipment in real time?

I get stuff from Germany in 2 days now
I'm still betting if I order something in Kleve, just half an hour from here by bicycle, they'll send it to Berlin, fly it to Amsterdam and then send it here instead of straight across the border where I could have it 20 minutes later.
