Default Reddit

Reddit is a swirling, nacreous, protoplasmic sludge of fact, fantasy, porn, and incessantly repeating memes that produces little more than entertainment and advertising.

It does have all that, but subreddits vary greatly.

I see you are familiar with Reddit.

I’m not sure about your use of nacreous. That just means shiny like mother of pearl. I can see how you could try to apply nacreous metaphorically but I’m not sure Uve ever seen the word used that way.

I think meretricious is a better adjective there, it basically means shiny but shitty, more rigorously it means appearing attractive but in reality having no value.

If you stick to the more obscure subreddits, you can get some useful information and interesting conversations. I use a few of them for obscure and outdated computer and programming topics.

The more heavy traffic subreddits are like trying to drink from a waterfall.

I've actually never encountered a Reddit.

Are they anything like Hobbits?

I'm now imagining sub Reddits, but everyone is real, responsible for what they write, post, upload, and do, and you can buy, sell, hire, tip and transfer money. And there is nobody who can delete or censor you (unless you break the law)

And I understand what Elon Musk is up to now.
