Does the original blink? I don't remember.

The original taps your screen with an annoying metal-on-glass sound effect to get your attention. Repeatedly, I think.

He also used to bend his body to his left and wiggle his eyebrows - a bit like below - but slower would be less irritating. If you're going to animate the eyebrows, it would perhaps be better just to have the odd wiggle with a longish pause - similar to how lots of the smilies blink.

You can see all of Clippy's animations in this youtube vid. The 'tink tink' screen tap is near the end.

BEWARE Sound is LOUD! You may want to mute your speakers before you watch!

The sound seemed distorted - could hardly make out the tinktink.

Anyway, vbulletin has failed to even consider the pressing need to add sound effects to smilies, so we should probably just focus on the animation. Of the eyebrows.

We went like 900 years without anyone thinking or talking about that thing, then you guys decide to resurrect it.

With :adminpwr: I could close the poll. I think that would be a political act.

How did I never vote in this poll until now*? I guess the pressure was too much at the time.
