Probably. We turn it back on for British Bake-Off and The Crown (though it sucked last year), and turn it off for the rest of the year.

Don't know how you expected me not to pick the Bowie option. Did you see Moonage Daydream?

Anyway, I keep the Netflixes because it's still relatively cheap on a per hour basis compared to many other entertainments. They still roll out a good series now and then. YMMV.

We have Prime with AMC+, Showtime, Epix and Curiosity Tv.

HBOMax, ESPN+, Apple TV, Peacock, ad free Hulu, YouTube tv for live sports.

We spend about as much as we use to in the days of cable, but I much prefer the current streaming environment in spite of the complexity.

I like Netflix’s catalog. I think they’ve made some good shows. Love bojack, I still watch it sometimes.

I’m giving gift a shot, and I’m excited to watch Season 2 of Barbarians. Netflix often has something I like.

I don’t try to maximize my streaming service utility by turning off and on the service, either I trust a service to make shows that I like or I don’t.

I cancelled my Netflix about two months ago. I'd subscribed without interruption for years - and that started as merely a continuation from my earlier subscription to LoveFilm, where they used to send DVDs or Blu-ray discs in the mail! :oldman:

I wasn't watching it much. I kept it going till Better Call Saul finished.

Television is losing its appeal to me. It seems to be ever-evolving to becoming more dumbed-down and irritating - though this is perhaps just a symptom of my increasingly chronic curmudgeonliness.

This is a good nudge. I have like a dozen streaming subs and use almost none of them.

There are sooooo many streaming services.

Someone implement this:

A single subscription site where you have access to X hours a month of every streaming service.
Like you Pay $50 a month to have 10 hours viewing of Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon, etc...
Or $100 a month for 20 hours of each.

Get on it :ff:

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

It should only be a small matter of programming.

Agreed, shouldn't need more than a GUI using a visual basic script :yup:

I was watching The Crown but I lost interest when they got to the Diana era. And the Great British Baking Show has gone downhill, I don't watch it anymore.

I think I'll drop it.

The Mrs continues to find all sorts of rather oddball flicks there.

Hasn't it though? I didn't know a season of it could be this weird. Maybe they're pandering to/trolling Americans or something. We'll finish this one out but this may be the last one.

I never really took to the new hosts. Mel and Sue were the best! And I miss Mary Berry!

I don't mind Noel. Matt Lucas is fairly awful.
