Turns out Mr Loaf was a bit of an anti-vaxxer.

I legit fell in love with Meatloaf listening to his voice. Didn't give a crap what he looked like. Is this the end of Rock Ballads?

A rambling essay that touches on a number of interesting topics including the people around Bat out of Hell: Meat Loaf - The Big Picture

But this won’t happen for Meat Loaf, and it’s his own damn fault.

Howard Hesseman, WKRP in Cincinnati's Dr. Johnny Fever, died Saturday at age 81.
I hear he had more recent roles but that's the one I'll always remember him for.

Although I'll remember him most as Dr. Johnny Fever, a close second is the teacher from Head of the Class. I loved that show as a kid.
This one falls under the 'he was still alive?' people for me.

WKRP was one of my favorite shows of all time. I just shared this clip with my sister a few months ago:

Classic! This was one of the rare shows that pulled me in from episode one.

Re: BREAKING: Sometimes Famous People Die
RIP Ian McDonald, founding member of both King Crimson . . .
. . . and Foreigner.
And while we're at it, here's the original recorded version of the McDonald-written I Talk to the Wind, which appeared on an album of the pre-Crimson group Giles, Giles & Fripp and features the late great Judy Dyble on lead vocals.

IMO, P.J. was one of the biggest wastes of talent in modern political discourse. I found him genuinely funny, especially on "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me." By the accounts of people from that show, he was genuinely warm and kind. That's not reflected in his writing or commentary.
