I never even thought that not wanting to go on a mission would confirm that I have no desire to sabotage it. huh. Okay I don't want to go on anymore missions. I effectively quit the cosmonaut program now.

If you were the spy out of you and Jerome, You would have voted yes because you could have sabotaged the mission, thus ending the game with three yes votes. That pretty much clears you in my book.
The spies are Jerome and Adam.

Re: The Resistance - Game Thread
If Jerome and Gonzo were both spies, they would have both had to vote yes, since they couldn't coordinate who would vote yes and who would vote no in advance.

Re: The Resistance - Game Thread
For Jerome to vote yes, he would have to believe that Gonzo and I are spies, which would make him wrong about me. I think he's a spy.

Adam is not the only one who can play the game at this point.

Re: The Resistance - Game Thread
Same here, there is no way for the other players to know for sure if I'm a spy or not, same for everybody. That's kind of the fun part of the game. Trying to tune up the bullshit detectors, for the resistance, and trying to psych out the resistance, for the spies. There is not too much solid to go on. We can't tell for sure what people are thinking when they vote on the roster proposals. Everything can be interpreted at least two ways.

Re: The Resistance - Game Thread
I just don't feel any closer to knowing who the spies are now than when we started, so I really have nothing good to post.
Plus I can't be bothered to try complicated math here.

Re: The Resistance - Game Thread
kael sure hasn't seemed to be trying to find anything out, though. I think I can trust you, Sr. And I know I'm not a spy, so that night me and Jerry went through and failed makes me think it's him and either kael or adam. You did have a weird start to the game, Sr... either you got better at lying or you haven't been lying at all.

I was just freaking out because it was a new experience. Basic noob freaking out stuff. Really I think the naive interpretation of that last vote tells us all we need to know, but there is really no way to be certain.
If Kael was one of the spies he would have voted yes and won the game right there. Basically the same applies to you, and to me as well. Since we already blew two missions, any spy on the roster would have voted yes to any mission including himself or his partner in spying.

Re: The Resistance - Game Thread
I voted no because I know I have to be on a three man roster or the mission will fail, because I'm not a spy. All three resistance have to go or the mission will fail.

He seems to have meant we, as in all of us, only know what our roles are. Not we, the spies, both only know who we are.

Re: The Resistance - Game Thread
I propose Adam, Gonzo, SR71, based mostly on who voted up and down on the last proposal.

Re: The Resistance - Game Thread
I can't vote yes on this, not with this being a three-man mission and the last failure needed to cost us the game. But, that doesn't mean information can't be gathered here. Gonzo's quick acquiescence seems suspect to me, and I am still uncertain about Adam and SR71. I would like to hear what Adam means by this regarding the proposed roster:
Quote:
based mostly on who voted up and down on the last proposal.
