Gietzen, in an August interview with The Eagle, said the nearly $120,000 he spent on the statewide recount would likely complicate his plans to renovate the old Cessna, which he said he flew for the first time in the summer of 2022 after he put 15 years of work into it.
Oh, he rebuilt it himself over the period of 15 years but it still wasn’t up to modern FAA standards, so he decided he’d just fly it in unregulated airspace, yeah, I would be surprised if he *didn’t* die in this manner.
With the insane safety record of commercial flying over the last decade and a half, especially in the US, air travel has become one of the few things where being rich increases your chance of dying, especially if you don’t want to travel with the unwashed masses.
As discovered by this millionaire MAGA and NRA supporting family of real estate investors.
This is just my opinion, but I don't think raw sewage, while it's disgusting, explains why infants had intravenous air pumped into their veins or their stomachs. It's probably an old, outdated hospital, as a lot of them tend to be, -- I bet in England they're even older than here--I've worked in one myself for years and it has nothing to do with the patient getting quality medical care.

The jury has heard more than eight months of evidence, including claims she deliberately injected some children with air or poisoned them with insulin. (Emphasis added.)
Now that's a long-ass trial, even with sizeable breaks. Having no idea regarding the mechanics of British jury trials or the specific evidence presented, I also have no guesses about what might happen.

The judge told the jury that all of the evidence was circumstantial, and they needed to act not emotional or rash. I'm glad he told him that last part but pointing out the evidence is circumstantial to sounds like he's leading them. But I probably watch too many movies.

A lot of movies and TV use circumstantial to mean irrelevant. Seems like an odd thing to tell the just without also explaining what it means.
From what I read in the article, and I admit I’m not the sharpest tool in the chandelier, but he said there were circumstances where it appeared suspect, but remember it is circumstantial. People can and have been convicted on circumstantial evidence in America, but even here I feel like jurors want physical evidence no matter how convincing the circumstances are. I admit I am biased though, having been in healthcare all my working life.

I've not looked into this case at all, but it has happened before that nurses have been wrongly convicted of serial murder based on circumstance and innuendo.
Turns out when you work on a place where people die quite often, you might be unlucky enough to be the last person around a whole lot of death. And if you happen to have ever expressed some vague oddness in a personal diary prosecutors can easily slur you for motive.
I hope that, whatever the facts of the current case happen to be, there is no miscarriage of justice.
