Thanks, I should've talked about that when I was talking about arguments against, seeing as I just used some excerpts from her essay in discussing the matter with a relative half a week ago... I probably also should've been clearer in the first part - by "natural next step" I just meant that a lot of people think that way when they believe "life begins at conception." I didn't mean to make it sound anything other than erroneous for various reasons, including the above.

Time for another featured warrant of the week! BCSO is looking to apprehend ANDREW DALE MARCUM on numerous warrants. He has previously been known to reside on Route 4 in Lemon Township, but also tends to commit crimes in Hamilton and Middletown.

The highlight of his recent criminal past involves burglary / safe-cracking (a Felony 2). He's also been dabbling in abduction (F2), assault (M1), domestic violence (M1), criminal endangering (M1) and he has some bench warrants.

Mylee Thomas, whose Shetland sheepdog Myter Eye to Eye is thought to have been poisoned the day after Irish setter Jagger was killed by poisoned meat, said she thought her dog was deliberately targeted by someone with expert knowledge of the breed, but Jagger had been the victim of a random attack carried out by someone else.

Other exhibitors believe Jagger’s killer may have randomly targeted the Westie, the Afghan and the Shih Tzu. The Kennel Club said it was aware of the reports of six poisonings and was urgently looking into the matter.

Mrs Thomas said: “The setter was poisoned the day before my bitch, and I don’t think there is a link between the two. I think that one [Jagger] was someone who had randomly targeted them because a lot of people don’t agree with Crufts.”

In other news miscellany: provincial elections here. The provincial parliaments then elect the First Chamber of Parliament (aka Senaat) which checks laws before they become law and occasionally (like a couple of months ago) says 'NO!' And apparently the ruling coalition could very well lose their majority there (even though they lost that vote even with a majority). So I hope so because I'm sick of these guys.
