Re: One of those 'Wat'cha Listenin' To?' threads.
Buddy of mine gave me a copy of the new Stones album:
One time you were my baby chicken
Now you've grown into a fox
And once upon a time I was your little rooster
Now am I just one of your cocks?
Bit of an odd thing for a 64-year-old man to be singing.

Re: One of those 'Wat'cha Listenin' To?' threads.
Again, good taste in music, Ymir's blood. I just bought a whole bunch of Joy Division vinyl off of a seller on an auction site, including the US version of the single She's Lost Control with Atmosphere as a B side.
98 Degrees - Siouxsie and the Banshees..oops, now it's Caught a Light Sneeze - Tori Amos.

Re: One of those 'Wat'cha Listenin' To?' threads.
I have downloaded all of my Blues Traveler CDs (which is all of them except for Bridge, which I ordered from Amazon but got stiffed on) onto iTunes here at work and I'm listening to a Blues Traveler Playlist.

Mine are all CDs, or MP3s ripped from them. My turntable has been history for years.
Last three files, The Cramps doing the theme from Peter Gun, Black Tape for a Blue Girl: Overwhelmed, Beneath Me and now Murder At The Registry: The Creatures Are Having Fun With The Hollywood Dreamblaster.

Re: One of those 'Wat'cha Listenin' To?' threads.
Glen Campbell - Galveston
Yeah, ok, so it's not really belting out of my speakers, but it is going around in my head.
Galveston, oh Galveston, I still hear your sea winds blowin'
I still see her dark eyes glowin'
She was 21 when I left Galveston
Galveston, oh Galveston, I still hear your sea waves crashing
While I watch the cannons flashing
I clean my gun and dream of Galveston
I still see her standing by the water
Standing there lookin' out to sea
And is she waiting there for me?
On the beach where we used to run
Galveston, oh Galveston, I am so afraid of dying
Before I dry the tears she's crying
Before I watch your sea birds flying in the sun
At Galveston, at Galveston

And I still find it so hard
To say what I need to say
But I'm quite sure that you'll tell me
Just how I should feel today

Re: One of those 'Wat'cha Listenin' To?' threads.
Currently listening to Jeff Buckley's Grace album.
Lover, You Should've Come Over
looking out the door i see the rain fall upon the funeral mourners
parading in a wake of sad relations as their shoes fill up with water
and maybe i'm too young to keep good love from going wrong
but tonight you're on my mind so you never know
broken down and hungry for your love with no way to feed it
where are you tonight, child you know how much i need it
too young to hold on and too old to just break free and run
sometimes a man gets carried away, when he feels like he should be having his fun
and much too blind to see the damage he's done
sometimes a man must awake to find that really, he has no-one
so i'll wait for you... and i'll burn
will i ever see your sweet return
oh will i ever learn
oh lover, you should've come over
'cause it's not too late
lonely is the room, the bed is made, the open window lets the rain in
burning in the corner is the only one who dreams he had you with him
my body turns and yearns for a sleep that won't ever come
it's never over, my kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder
it's never over, all my riches for her smiles when i slept so soft against her
it's never over, all my blood for the sweetness of her laughter
it's never over, she's the tear that hangs inside my soul forever
well maybe i'm just too young
to keep good love from going wrong
oh... lover, you should've come over
'cause it's not too late
well i feel too young to hold on
and i'm much too old to break free and run
too deaf, dumb, and blind to see the damage i've done
sweet lover, you should've come over
oh, love well i'm waiting for you
lover, you should've come over
cause it's not too late

Re: One of those 'Wat'cha Listenin' To?' threads.
The album, Sleep in Safety by 45 Grave. It just came in a large Amazon order, mostly of books, though there were two CDs (the other is Pornography by The Cure) and some DVDs.
