Re: Cute WiFi network names we may or may not have seen
The ones I can see from here are all boring. Mine is Mercury. At one time, I also had Venus and Mars in a different room of the house and the shed - but I upgraded Mercury to shine more brightly, and switched those others off.

Re: Cute WiFi network names we may or may not have seen
Our network is a mashup of the first syllable of each of our last names. Mrs. Reason's last name is not the same as mine.
Right now, I'm in my daylight basement, so I'm not seeing many of the neighbor's wifi networks. I think the people who used "FBI_van" moved, but we still have "PickleNet" and "GreenForest" - not really as interesting.

I used to have "The_Signal" but now had "Secret_Lair" for years. No-one else near by has anything fun, just the default or apartment numbers.

Re: Cute WiFi network names we may or may not have seen
When I set up our network a couple of years ago I noticed that someone nearby had "TheNeighbours". Not to be outdone, I put us as "ThemNextDoors".

Re: Cute WiFi network names we may or may not have seen
We live in the country now, so only a couple in range and just boring unchanged provider names like BTHub7-8XC9.
At our old place I named ours Apollo 11, but I either had fat fingers or didn't know how to spell*, so it was actually Appollo 11. I was too lazy to change it and it drove Sou mad
*this is the leading and almost certainly correct theory

Yeah, most of ours in range are just default rental modem names or people's last names.
There are some marijuana enthusiasts I assume whose network is Whooody Tribe, our backyard neighbor's is Romeo (her favorite cat, who died several years ago), and we are Monster Island and our guest network is Guest Monster.

One of my neighbours has had SteelyDan for years. The rest are boring defaults.
What's in my saved networks ...
"Secret_Lair"
"Frank exchange of views" is one I set up for a mobile hotspot. A shiny to anyone who can identify where that comes from.

Re: Cute WiFi network names we may or may not have seen
None interesting here, but boring is better than our neighbors' at the TX house. LiveFreeOrDie and OBAMA=HITLER were 2 of the more memorable ones.

One of our neighbors has GoVols, which is surprising in California, but sure why not. SEC represent!
