It seems this is a thing: Can sending fewer emails really save the planet? | BBC

Naturally, Betteridge's law of headlines applies.

Quote:
"What really makes a difference is buying less kit, and keeping it for longer," Prof Preist explains. "But even this is small fry compared with your travel, heating your home, and what you eat." He said consumers should focus their "eco-guilt" on things that make a difference - and not sweat the small stuff.

Someone has done a pretty good job convincing regular people to blame themselves for climate change. People spend so much time fretting about piddling little stuff like their emails and toothbrushes and stuff, and they almost forget about the real problems.

Until they can get all of the farmers using zero emissions Tractors, we'll never see Net Zero.
Out where we live, there are no zero emission tractors, yet.
during Plowing and Harvesting you can almost smell the rise in Global Warming gases.

I was listening to some cheesy 80s cartoon youtubes and came across one I hadn't heard of. It seems to be about battling genetically engineered plants with muscle cars.

This is the sort of shit I was raised on.

I used to play Wheeled Warriors with my friend Kevin in 2nd grade. It had a theme song and everything.

So, News all over the world is about crop-threatening droughts, and deadly Flooding.

Not a happy medium to be found.

It has been a little unseasonably hot this summer but otherwise unremarkable in southeastern Michigan, too.

In the "How predictable can you get?" department,
This Winter has been record-breaking in the Eastern Colorado Plains.
Our county recorded the most snowfall in nearly 20 years.
Beef is the main product of the region. Almost all of the farming here is growing food for Beef Cattle.

Talk around the coffee shop this Spring has been about how the crops have been impacted by the extreme Cold and Snowfall. And how many calves were lost this Spring from the same.

And, of course, how the Democrats have lied about Global Warming. :eyeball::glare::deepsigh:
