Joe Lieberman, retired Independent Senator from Connecticut who in the same breath claims to be a "life-long Democrat" has endorsed Maine vacilator Susan Collins because she's "a fighter for women's issues."

Riiight. Because casting a deciding vote to put Kavanaugh on the SC and acquitting Trump has been a huge win for women's issues.

A number of grassroots groups from Maine, some that long-supported Collins but now seek her ouster, would beg to differ about her commitment to both women and to her constituents. Slate just did a decent in-depth on why Collins will likely be joining ol' Joey L. in retirement this November.

I assume it’s because as top authoritarian Trump can do whatever he wants and it’s up to those under him to make do. Not being top authoritarian, Woodward shouldn’t have withheld information from us as it’s not his job to choose for us (that’s Daddy’s, er I mean Trump’s).

A big difference between authoritarian and non-authoritarian thinking is that to non authoritarians what’s right and wrong depends on the scenario, but to authoritarians it’s based on who’s making the call. Which is how both lying is bad and Trump can lie all he wants and still be Jesus.
