Prediction: there will be a number of xenophobic incidents in Britain over the next few days, now that the (alleged) xenophobes (if there are any) are fired up by the thought that they've won.
So a very unpleasant thing happened in the store were I work this evening. A thug - thats what I'm going to call him, went up to some random Arab guy and shouted very loudly 'thank god that from tomorrow your sort will be banned from coming here' then he blotted out before anyone had a chance to pull him up over the comment.
I've never experienced Brexit related racism first hand before so this is depressing.
Funny you should say that, as Britain seems to take it the most seriously of all the countries. It makes a big fuss about *not* taking it seriously, which merely underlines that it actually does. But that could be a cultural interpretation difference.
