Im not sure if Im really glad we no longer have duels, or really sad we no longer have duels. Pistols at Dawn for ownership of Twitter seems like the natural conclusion.

Twitter deal back on, at the original price inflated by Elon just to hit a 420 meme, but its not his yet.
As with everything Musk, hes promising big but with no real idea of how to get there. If Musk has his way twitter will be *the* central social platform everyone uses, it will cost money to join, and/or tweet, while at the same time processing transactions and taking a small cut, like Paypal/wechat, while also allowing all speech that isnt illegal with little to no moderation.
For some reason white supremacists think the general population will pay for the ability to hear white supremacists angry rants.
This is absolutely going to break twitter as we know it.

If Trump and other white nationalists get reinstated, I'll leave Twitter. I can figure out some other way to have a parasocial relationship with the podcasters, journalists and scientists I follow. Maybe I'll actually talk or write to my friends again.

Reddit seems to go out of the way to be difficult to use. Potentially useful replies hidden under "more comments", half the screen taken up with unrelated threads. Does it need customising? Is there a dark art?
