I have rarely been so happy to have been wrong. My old prog buddy, who lives in Oregon now, discovered that they're also playing on 9/13 at the Blue Note in Napa, which does have good acoustics. He got us in the 4th row in Section Gold B, so basically in spitting distance of the stage (not that I plan to spit on anyone), and p. much dead center. (Napa is a slightly longer drive than San Jose, but I've driven further for a show before. Hell, I've driven further to see a KC show, in fact.)

So not only am I going, I'm going with someone who actually likes this stuff as much as I do. Maybe more, he's such a music nerd. In summary: :flowerdance:
