not trying to pick on this guy. this just reminded me that the federal government does not provide coffee to workers. to drink coffee at a federal office you generally have to pay into a "coffee club" that is managed by a staffer who volunteers to collect money and purchase a monthly coffee supply.

for decades the federal govt has bent over backwards to limit spending even on totally sensible things like office coffee, all so they can say your tax dollars aren't going to pay for coffee. and it was all for nothing bc elon is tweeting out conspiracy theories about non-existent fraud.

My wife took a buyout/early retirement option. So now everyone can pay her the rest of the year, payout sick and vacation time accrued, and pay us every year for retirement starting 10 years earlier than planned.

Eventually, they will likely outsource her work to a private company that charges more then she was paid.
