I’m torn. On one hand, being blown up in his own rocket probably won’t fix dragon hoard greed but it might be a start, on the other I kind of want to see this brutal test on the one blue marble hypothesis. That seeing the entirety of the world with no borders or labels changes ones perspective on the human race.
Can seeing the entirety of human existence below him make this robot a real boy, or will he think, “Muahaha! I am God and you are my subjects!”

There is zero chance of him becoming more human upon seeing the globe. More likely he'll be uncomfortably reminded that there are still places with other businesses he hasn't destroyed and workers he hasn't exploited.

In things I missed in 2020, in may 2020 a Pakistani International Airlines Airbus crashed in Pakistan, sadly killing almost 100 people, but also leading to the events that has ended Pakistani International Airlines as a carrier.
After the crash investigation discovered a huge lax in safety and qualifications, not just from that flight crew who were at fault in the crash, but 1/4th of PIA pilots held fake licenses and were helped by now former officials of the Pakistani Civil Aviations Authority in faking test results/qualifications.
Europe and then the US both temporarily banned PIA from their airports, and after further investigation the ban was made permanent. PIA layed off most of their employees and was sold to the Pakistani Air Force.
The pineapple fried rice at our local Taiwanese place is fucking bonkers. It has whole cashews, shrimps, raisins, peas, pineapple obviously, egg, scallions, I don't even remember what else, and it's served in half a pineapple shell! I guarantee you it's way better than that is all I'm saying.

The Karl Jobst video is 50 minutes long so to summarize, a group of guys created a video game collector grading company in collusion with an auction house that only auctions games graded by that company (From what I can tell, they grade plastic wrap). They then sell games to each other through the auction system at crazy prices artificially creating a “previous sold for” price, to then sell off a small hoard of the same game at a “deal” until the market realizes the game isn’t rare at all and is flooded with it. Rinse repeat.
Meanwhile the media has been as obedient as ever presenting un-checked claims from these companies as fact, helping to feed the artificial bubble.
